Mounting systems built specifically for interactive flat panels — wall-mounted or freestanding, fixed or height-adjustable. An interactive panel is only as good as its position, and the height that suits a Year 6 class leaves a Year 1 student reaching over their head.
Wall or freestanding?
- Wall mount — cheaper, takes no floor space, but needs a solid wall and permanent fixing
- Freestanding — no drilling, so it suits leased buildings, heritage walls and rooms that get reconfigured. Also moves between rooms if needed.
Fixed or height-adjustable?
- Fixed height — the lower-cost option, right where one age group uses the room
- Height adjustable — raises and lowers at the press of a button. Essential in a primary school, and in any room shared across year levels.
Height-adjustable systems come with three lift mechanisms — actuator, column and centre. All do the same job; the difference is the mechanism and frame design. Tell us your panel model and wall type and we'll confirm which suits.
Accessibility is worth naming. A height-adjustable panel is usable by a student in a wheelchair. A fixed one at adult height isn't.
