Sphero Blueprint Robotics

Blueprint Robotics brings competition-style robotics into an ordinary class period. Built for Years 8–12 (ages 14+), it hands students a ready-to-use swerve-drive robot so they can build a working robot in one or two lessons — with no prior robotics or coding experience needed.

Instead of spending weeks on setup, students start building, testing and improving straight away. Each kit supports six snap-together "Rapid Robot" builds — from launchers to conveyors to robotic arms — that students modify and refine to see how design changes affect performance. Along the way they work with motors, sensors, motion control, CAD and systems thinking, and can progress from drag-and-drop code to writing their own Python in Blueprint Studio. Every purchase includes access to Sphero's teacher hub, with ready-to-use lessons, unit plans and support.

Choosing the right option:

Single Kit — one robot for a group of 2–3 students; ideal for getting started or adding to a class set.

Class Pack (6 kits) — whole-class builds for 12–18 students, with multi-chargers for easy charging.

Classroom Competition Pack (6 kits) — the recommended setup: everything in the Class Pack plus a competition field for running contests in class.

Swerve Drive Robot + Controller and Accessory Kit — add-ons to expand or replace parts of an existing set.
