Sphero indi — Screen-Free Coding Robots for Ages 4+

Sphero indi is a screen-free coding robot that introduces children from age 4 to the basics of coding — no device or reading required. Instead of a screen, indi reads colours: children lay out coloured tiles or cards to build a path, and indi's on-board colour sensor turns each colour into an action. It's a hands-on, playful first step into computational thinking, sequencing and problem-solving.

When they're ready, older learners can level up with the free Sphero Edu Jr app, using simplified drag-and-drop blocks to change how indi responds to each colour.

Choosing the right indi:

At-Home Learning Kit — colour cards and everything one child needs to start coding at home.

Student Kit — durable silicone colour tiles and a carry case, for 1–3 learners or to expand a Class Pack.

Class Pack — 8 robots, tiles, storage and an Educator Guide to bring screen-free coding to a whole class.

Designed for Pre-K to Year 2, indi builds early STEM, literacy and maths skills through play. You're buying from an Australian, teacher-run business — with local stock, expert support and purchase orders welcome.
