Terms & Conditions

This document defines the terms and conditions of our working relationship with our customers.

Product Orders


  • Schools, TAFE's, Universities and libraries can order on account from Sammat Education.
  • Orders can be placed online, by fax, by phone, by email or by post.
  • All orders should be accompanied by an official Purchase Order form with an authorised signature from the purchasing institution.


  • Software products may be returned for a credit within 14 days of purchase provided the sealed software package has not been opened and is in resalable condition. Software that has been opened cannot be returned unless faulty.
  • The purchaser is liable for the cost of return freight and insurance.
  • The original shipping fee is non-refundable.
  • All returns need to be pre-authorised. You MUST contact us before returning any software product.


  • All effort has been made to ensure our online store has the most correct and up to date pricing, however we reserve the right to alter published prices due to exceptional circumstances.
  • Low Price Guarantee - if you do happen to find a cheaper price elsewhere let us know and we'll BEAT it as long as the selling price is not below our cost price. This offer only applies at the time of placing your order.


  • We accept cheques, direct deposit, money orders, and credit card via Paypal. No surcharge is added for credit card orders. Payment is required within 14 days of invoice.

Professional Learning Workshops


By registering for a workshop you agree to the following Terms & Conditions:

  • You confirm that you have been given financial authorisation by your school to enrol in the workshop.
  • All workshop fees must be paid for in advance.
  • Full payment should be received at least 14 days from the invoice date or 14 days prior to the workshop date (whichever occurs first). If this does not occur your position may be made available to another person.
  • No bookings will be confirmed until full payment has been received.


Cancellations will only be accepted as follows:

  • Cancellations will only be accepted 14 working days before the commencement of a workshop.
  • No refund will be given for cancellations after that time; however bookings are transferable and an alternate person may attend the training.


Sammat Education will make every effort to run advertised workshops, however we reserve the right to vary the advertised workshop schedule as minimum numbers are required for all workshops to run.

Student STEAM Workshops



  • Full payment should be received at least 14 days from the invoice date or on the workshop date.


Cancellations will only be accepted as follows:

  • Cancellations will only be accepted 14 working days before the commencement of a workshop. During this time it may be possible to transfer the booking date.
  • If the workshop is cancelled within 14 days then the school maybe liable to pay a cancellation fee of $100 ex GST. This is a non-refundable fee.



  • A 10% non -refundable deposit is required to confirm the booking.
  • Full payment should be received at least 14 days prior to the first workshop date.


Cancellations will only be accepted as follows:

  • Cancellations will only be accepted 28 working days before the commencement of a workshop. During this time it may be possible to transfer the booking date.
  • Please note that all cancellations will forfeit the 10% deposit fee.

Holiday STEAM Camps


As the parent, guardian or legal representative of a child under 18 years of age whom you wish to enrol in a Sammat Education Holiday STEAM Camp workshop, you understand that you are bound by all the terms and conditions, which are outlined below.

Occupational Health & Safety

  • Sammat Education has a duty of care towards students and you agree to accept any decision made by Sammat Education or its agents in the interest of the health or safety of your child (including any emergency medical treatment they think necessary or desirable) and to reimburse them for any reasonable extra costs they may thereby incur.
  • You agree to give Sammat Education full information and instructions about any medical condition from which your child may be suffering at the commencement of the workshop.
  • You understand that although all activities are carefully supervised, they are undertaken entirely at the risk of the individual and that Sammat Education accepts no responsibility for loss or injury.


  • Punctuality is crucial. Students should be dropped off and picked up within 5 mins of starting and finishing times, failure to do so may incur an additional fee of $1/min.  Parents (or an allocated responsible adult) must be contactable at ALL times during the class time. If someone other than a parent or family member is likely to be picking your child up, please inform the instructor on site in writing prior to the workshop.

Photographs and Video

  • As part of our marketing and promotional activity, images may be taken of your child and/or your child's project for promotional use. By attending workshops you agree to have your child's image published in various media accompanied by their first name. If you do not wish your child to be photographed, please inform us in writing before the commencement of the workshop.


  • Sammat Education will not provide the personal information collected at enrolment to any third party sources.

Food & Drink

  • Participants are to supply their own food and drink. Please note that our workshops are "Nut Free" environments. Please pack suitable options for morning tea and lunch.
  • Food and drink can only be consumed during the allocated break time for the workshops.

Workshop Materials

  • All materials and equipment are property of Sammat Education and are to be returned at the end of the workshop unless the ticket purchased includes taking home the equipment.

Timetable Changes

  • All workshops are subject to change. While Sammat Education uses its best efforts to operate workshops as per the timetable published on this website, in some instances changes are required due to fluctuations in demand. No guarantee is made that workshops will run per the timetable. Any changes required will be communicated to those affected prior to the date workshops commence.


  • All fees for the workshop must be paid on enrolment. In the event of illness or injury, you may nominate another individual to attend in your place for the original booking. Workshop fees are strictly non-refundable.

Cancellation and Refund Policy

  • Refunds are not given in any circumstances. In the unlikely event that a workshop is cancelled by Sammat Education, the participant will be refunded the full amount for the number of cancelled workshops.


Sammat Education, to the extent permitted by law, expressly disclaims liability to participants for:

  1. Any injury to a participant or loss to a participant's property however occurring before, during or after workshops whilst that participant is on these premises;
  2. Any negligent acts or omissions of Sammat Education and its instructors, occurring before, during or after classes whilst a participant is on these premises;
  3. Any breach of contractual duty or obligation owed by Sammat Education to any participants in relation to personal safety before, during or after workshops whilst the participants are on these premises;
  4. Breach of any duty owed by Sammat Education to any participants as an occupier of these premises;
  5. Breach of any statutory duty which Sammat Education its directors, instructors, employees, servants or agents may owe to participants;
  6. Any other liability howsoever caused or arising as a result of the undertaking of the workshops or the entry into these premises by any participants.
