Description
Cat6 patch leads for school networks — the cable that runs from a wall port to a device, or from a patch panel to a switch. Sold individually so you can order the exact lengths and colours a job needs rather than a box of one size.

- Blue and black, plus yellow in 15m
Why colour matters in a rack. Most schools that run a tidy comms cupboard use colour to separate purpose — blue for data, another colour for uplinks or voice. It costs nothing at install and saves an hour every time someone has to trace a fault.
Choosing lengths: 300mm and 500mm for patching within a rack, 1m to 3m for desk and wall runs, 5m and 15m for longer runs to fixed equipment such as projectors, displays and access points.
