Where these fit: annotation, maths working, diagrams and drawing on any touchscreen. Both work across iPad, Android and Windows, so a mixed fleet doesn't need two products.
Passive or active? Passive styluses like these are cheaper, need no charging and never stop working mid-lesson. Active styluses such as the Dash 4 and Neo give a finer line and a more natural feel, at roughly twice the price and with a battery to keep charged. For a class set, passive usually wins.
