littleBits Power Modules

The littleBits battery + cable includes a 9 V alkaline battery and a cable that connects it to the power Bit — snap it in, flip the switch and your creations come to life. It's an easy way to make a build portable, and sits alongside our other power Bits. Try it: use it with the power Bit to run a circuit away from a computer or wall socket. (Designed for the power Bit — it won't work with the USB or coin-battery Bits.)

The littleBits USB power is a small but capable power Bit — connect the included USB cable to a computer or phone charger and it sends power to your whole circuit, with a red LED to show when it's on. You'll get around 500 mA from a computer's USB port, or up to about 1 A from a USB wall adapter. Browse the rest of our littleBits power modules for other options. Try it: connect it to an LED for the simplest possible littleBits circuit. (It supplies power only — there's no data connection.)

littleBits powerSnaps supply power to an open input without needing extra forks, splits or power supplies — a tidy way to keep more complex builds simple. Each pack includes three powerSnaps, and they work with the rest of our littleBits power modules. Try it: use a powerSnap to feed a spare input when your circuit branches in several directions.

This Sphero & littleBits USB cable is a micro-USB lead, about 30 cm long, in littleBits white. Use it to connect a computer to your codeBit or USB power Bit, to recharge a LiPo battery, or with inductive chargers for the Sphero SPRK+, BOLT and Mini. It's a genuine part from our littleBits accessories. Good to know: this cable does not work with the Sphero RVR battery.
