littleBits Accessories

The littleBits battery + cable includes a 9 V alkaline battery and a cable that connects it to the power Bit — snap it in, flip the switch and your creations come to life. It's an easy way to make a build portable, and sits alongside our other power Bits. Try it: use it with the power Bit to run a circuit away from a computer or wall socket. (Designed for the power Bit — it won't work with the USB or coin-battery Bits.)

The littleBits Brick Adapter is the simple bridge between your littleBits circuits and the LEGO® bricks students already build with. Snap the adapters onto bricks and press your Bits into place, and a LEGO® model can suddenly light up, make sound or move — a quick way to turn a static build into a working invention. The littleBits motorMate makes it easy to attach wheels, card, paper and other materials to the DC motor — just slide it onto the shaft. A LEGO® axle also fits the end, so it plays nicely with brick-based builds. It's a small but handy part of our littleBits accessories. Try it: fit it to the DC motor to drive a wheel, a spinner or a paper mechanism.

littleBits mounting boards hold a finished circuit together so students can pick it up, turn it over and carry it without it falling apart. Press the feet of your Bits into the holes, and use the corner holes to fix a build permanently to a project. Boards come two to a pack and can be tiled for larger circuits — a staple of our littleBits accessories. Try it: mount a circuit vertically or upside down for a display, or fix one inside a cardboard build.

littleBits powerSnaps supply power to an open input without needing extra forks, splits or power supplies — a tidy way to keep more complex builds simple. Each pack includes three powerSnaps, and they work with the rest of our littleBits power modules. Try it: use a powerSnap to feed a spare input when your circuit branches in several directions.

The littleBits screwdriver is the small tool used to adjust any Bit with a micro adjuster — like the sensitivity on a light or sound sensor, or the colour channels on the RGB LED. It's an inexpensive but essential part of the kit, and sits with the rest of our littleBits accessories. Try it: keep one on hand to fine-tune sensors and dials as students test and refine their builds.

The littleBits servo mount bucket attaches the servo motor to a littleBits mounting board, holding it steady so it can push, pull or turn without shifting around. It's a simple fix for making servo builds more reliable, and part of our littleBits accessories. Try it: mount the servo firmly to build a moving arm, lever or gate.

littleBits bitShoes are small hook-and-loop mounts that stick to the bottom of your Bits, so you can attach a circuit to fabric, felt, cardboard and other materials — no tape or glue needed. They're a simple way to build Bits into wearables, puppets and craft projects, and are part of our littleBits accessories. Try it: stick Bits onto a felt banner or a cardboard model so a finished invention holds together and can be handled. HOOK & LOOP Shoes come with an adhesive-backed Hook & Loop strip. The strip can be cut to any size you desire and affixed to clothing or fabric to enhance your wearable project. ADHESIVE Shoes can be secured onto any surface -- paper, cardboard, plastic – you name it! [Adhesive backing is one-time use only.] MAGNET shoes allow you to adhere your circuit to any magnetic surface--like your fridge! littleBits wheels attach to the DC motor so students can turn a circuit into something that moves — cars, buggies and other rolling inventions. They fit onto the motor (using the motorMate) for a quick, reliable build. Find them among our littleBits accessories. Try it: fit two wheels to DC motors to build a self-driving car, then add a proximity sensor so it steers around obstacles.

The Sphero Craft Pack is your one stop shop for all the crafting accessories you’ll ever need to take your creations and inventions even further. With over 31 different items and 100’s of materials the Sphero Craft Pack was designed for both littleBits and Sphero robots. This Sphero & littleBits USB cable is a micro-USB lead, about 30 cm long, in littleBits white. Use it to connect a computer to your codeBit or USB power Bit, to recharge a LiPo battery, or with inductive chargers for the Sphero SPRK+, BOLT and Mini. It's a genuine part from our littleBits accessories. Good to know: this cable does not work with the Sphero RVR battery.
