The S8 Pro Bundle is the UltiMaker S8 supplied with the two accessories that change how it can be run: the S Series Air Manager and the S Series Material Station. Together they make the difference between a printer someone has to stand over and one a workshop can leave running.
What's in the bundle:
- UltiMaker S8 3D printer — dual extrusion, 330 x 240 x 300mm build volume, Cheetah motion planner, print quality 0.15mm ± 0.15%
- S Series Air Manager — encloses the top of the printer and filters the exhaust air, which matters when printing ABS or composites in an occupied room
- S Series Material Station — holds six spools in a humidity-controlled bay and feeds them automatically, so a long job can switch spools without anyone present
Why the accessories matter in a teaching space:
- The Air Manager addresses the ventilation question that usually rules out engineering materials in a shared room
- The Material Station removes the most common cause of a failed overnight print — running out of filament mid-job — and keeps hygroscopic materials like nylon dry between uses
- Six loaded spools means less handling, which in a shared workshop means fewer mistakes
Who it suits: a TAFE or university workshop running the printer as production equipment across multiple courses, particularly where engineering materials are on the syllabus. If you don't need the filtration or automated feeding, the S8 on its own is the same printer.
