The TTS Super Sentence Tub gives children a hands-on way to build sentences and get to grips with grammar. The tub is full of foam jigsaw pieces, each printed with a word and colour-coded by its job in a sentence — nouns one colour, verbs another, and so on. Children pick and join the pieces to make sentences, starting simple and then stretching them longer by adding adjectives, conjunctions and punctuation. Because they can see and move the words, tricky ideas like word classes and sentence structure become a lot clearer.
