Pre-order: stock expected in Australia in December 2026. Free shipping.

The recommended setup for Blueprint Robotics: six complete kits plus a dedicated competition field, so you can run robotics competitions within a normal class period. Up to 18 students in groups of three build Rapid Robots, test them, then compete in Sphero's Launch Party and Block Party classroom games.

What's included

  • 6× Swerve Drive Robots, each with a rechargeable battery, controller and charging cable
  • 6× mechanical parts sets, plus bonus shared classroom parts
  • 6× electronics sets (each: 2× magnetic proximity switches, distance sensor, beam break sensor, 2× high-speed motors, 1× high-torque motor)
  • 6× game element sets (1 ball + 1 cube each)
  • Classroom competition field, 2.44 m × 1.83 m assembled (30 cm tiles), with additional game elements
  • Battery multi-charger and controller multi-charger (each holds 6)
  • Storage: 6× large bin A, 6× large bin B, 1× small bin
  • Access to the full Blueprint Robotics lesson library on Sphero Central, including the classroom competition collection

What students practise

  • A build, test and compete cycle that mirrors real engineering design
  • Mechanism design, motion control, sensors and CAD
  • Competition strategy, teamwork and communication
  • Optional programming in Blueprint Studio, from configurable text snippets through to Python

Who it's for

Designed for secondary students aged 11–18, with no prior experience needed. This is an in-class competition setup, separate from the after-school Sphero Robotics Competition. Ships across multiple cartons; allow floor space for the assembled field.
