A full class set of CoDrone EDU programmable drones, with enough controllers, batteries and spares to run a term of lessons without downtime. Students code each drone in Blockly or Python and read its seven onboard sensors, so the same hardware suits a first-time coder and a student writing text-based programs.

What is included:

Optional portable drone cage

Available with a 3m x 3m x 2.4m portable cage that clips together without tools, much like a tent frame. It is modular, so it can be extended in width or length, and is intended for indoor use to keep flights contained.

What students practise:

  • Block coding through to Python on the same drone
  • Using sensor input, including colour, range and height, to control flight
  • Flight-path planning, obstacle courses and data logging

Flexible guards and a modular frame mean motors and propellers can be replaced individually. Shipped from Australian stock, and schools, TAFEs and government institutions are welcome to order on a purchase order or request a quote.
