Description
UltiMaker CPE-TR is the temperature-resistant version of CPE, for parts that have to keep working when things get hot. It holds up where standard CPE and PETG start to soften, which matters for enclosures around motors and electronics, or anything that will sit in a hot workshop or a car in summer.
Specifications:
- 750g spool
- 2.85mm diameter - for UltiMaker S series printers
- Two colours: black and white
- Print profiles built into UltiMaker Cura
Check your printer takes 2.85mm. UltiMaker S series printers use 2.85mm filament. Most other desktop printers, including FlashForge and the MakerBot SKETCH range, take 1.75mm and this spool will not fit them.
CPE or CPE-TR?
- CPE for chemical resistance and dimensional stability at normal temperatures - the cheaper and more common choice
- CPE-TR only where the part will actually get hot. There is no point paying for the temperature resistance otherwise.
