- Rechargeable via USB-C, with a four-light battery indicator
- Replaceable tip, with two spare tips in the box

Check compatibility before ordering the SE 2. It's designed for newer iPads only and won't work with Android, Windows or older iPads. Adonit lists iPad (6th–10th generation), iPad mini (5th–6th), iPad Air (3rd–6th), iPad Pro 11" (1st–5th) and iPad Pro 12.9"/13" (3rd–7th).
Which suits a class set? The Pro 4 suits mixed device fleets and younger students — there's nothing to charge and nothing to go flat mid-lesson. The SE 2 suits iPad-only classes where students write at length and palm rejection matters.
