TTS 44 Sound and Spelling Phonics Tubs
$380.91 ex GST
($419.00 inc GST)
The 44 Sound and Spelling Phonics Tubs make the 44 sounds of English something children can hold. Each of the 44 labelled tubs holds a small collection of objects — between three and six mini plastic items — along with a list of the different ways that sound can be spelled. So the 'ai' tub might hold a snail, a cake and a weight, helping children see how three different spellings can make the same sound. It's a hands-on, visual way into a tricky part of learning to read and spell.
What's included:
44 labelled tubs, one for each sound of the English language
3–6 mini plastic objects in every tub, plus a spelling list
Covers initial sounds, long and short vowels and split digraphs
A simple storage box, with a label on each tub so pieces go back in place
A full teaching guide with activity ideas
Arrives fully assembled and ready to use
Ways to use them:
Introduce just the sounds you're teaching that week, then build up
Sort and match objects to explore the different spellings of a sound
Use for quick assessment or revision before the Year 1 Phonics Check
Give EAL/D learners a real object to link to each sound and word
Tactile, structured and easy to manage, these phonics tubs work right across early years and primary — a hands-on support for phonics, spelling and reading.
TTS Premium Recordable Talk-Time Cards 3pk
from $99.09 ex GST
($109.00 inc GST)
The TTS Premium Recordable Talk-Time Cards let a teacher or child record a message and stick it wherever it's needed. Each card records up to 60 seconds of clear audio, then plays it back at the press of a button — handy for phonics prompts, spelling reminders, an instruction beside an activity, or giving children a way to record and hear their own voice. The write-on, wipe-off surface means you can change what's on the card as often as you like.
What's included:
A pack of 3 recordable cards
Up to 60 seconds of clear recording and playback per card
A record-lock switch so a saved message can't be taped over by accident
A dry-wipe front for writing, wiping and reusing
A magnetic back for placing on boards and around the room
Replaceable button-cell batteries (not included)
Choose A4, A5 or A6 to suit the display
Ways to use them:
Record a sound, word or instruction for children to listen to and follow
Practise phonics and spelling — hear the sound, then write the word
Label a display or working wall with a spoken explanation
Give a child a simple, low-pressure way to record and share an idea
Set a question on the card and record the answer to check later
Reusable, hard-wearing and quick to record, these Talk-Time cards bring speaking, listening and everyday classroom talk together across early years and primary.
