Sphero has been proven to be an effective teaching tool in both formal and informal learning environments. Sphero goes further than teaching maths and science. It can help students develop computational thinking skills, which are necessary if they want a chance at competing globally with other technology-rich economies.
We're hosting a professional learning event for teachers to help them learn how they can use Sphero robotics in their classroom with students from K-6 year levels.
Specifically we will look at the Maths curriculum and how Sphero tools help bring math lessons off the pages of a textbook and into real-world applications.
From our experience in the classroom, we know that there is tremendous demand for interactive teaching methods that excite students about STEM topics and allow them to explore concepts hands-on.
The skills students unlock through coding prepare them for their future no matter what subject or career they pursue.
