Our upcoming professional learning workshop will provide participants with the knowledge and skills necessary to successfully integrate STEAM in their libraries. Participants will learn how to develop a sound understanding of STEAM and its importance in today’s classroom. They will also gain an understanding of the ways that they can incorporate it into their work as librarians.
You won’t have any trouble finding engaging, hands-on activities for your students when you attend this workshop! We'll cover everything from robotics and coding, to engineering design challenges and more! You'll leave feeling confident about integrating science, technology, engineering, art & math concepts into your library programming.

Completing the workshop will contribute 4 hours of Professional Learning addressing 1.2.2, 1.5.2, 2.1.2, 2.5.2, 2.6.2, 3.2.2, 3.3.2, 3.4.2 from the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers towards maintaining Proficient Teacher Accreditation.
