The Sphero STEAM Program will help you develop your student's creativity and imagination skills. It has endless opportunities for exploring STEM, computational thinking, engineering design...whatever your student's interests! A new opportunity awaits in 2022
The program uses app-enabled robots to foster creativity through discovery and play, all while laying the foundation for computer science.
Students will interact with "BOLT", an app-enabled robotic ball that provides endless opportunities to have fun while learning. Program with the Sphero Edu app, discover community-created activities or just drive and play. BOLT was built to shine with an animated 8x8 LED Matrix that displays real-time data and advanced sensors like its gyroscope, accelerometer, and infrared communications. Get amped – Sphero BOLT establishes a striking new way to learn and play.
The Sphero STEAM Program is a term based program that lasts for an 8 week term. It allows for 4 classes of students to participate in 8 x 1 hour sessions based around coding and programming the Sphero robot as well as several design and invention challenges modelling the Engineering Design Cycle.
All challenges and coding principles taught in the Sphero STEAM Program link to the Australian Curriculum.
